La Via Tecta du Capitole permet de passer l’Arx à l’esplanade capitoline.
Cette voie était entièrement couverte et elle passait dans la structure qui a longtemps été interprétée comme le Tabularium, mais qui serait en réalité une substruction pour soutenir trois temples, dont celui de Vénus Victrix. Aujourd’hui, il est possible d’emprunter la Via Tecta quand on visite les Musées capitolins.
